Online Registration
CAPSO strongly encourages all CAPSO 2011 attendees to register online. Our online registration system is fast, user-friendly, and convenient. Whether you are registering one person or an entire school faculty, and regardless of your preference to pay by check or credit card, just follow the step-by-step instructions appearing below, and we'll see you in Long Beach!
Getting Started...
- Collect CAPSO 2011 workshop session selections from all individuals to be registered. A "Session Selection Worksheet" has been provided to facilitate this process. Session and presenter information can be found in the registration program booklet, or viewed online, as per the instructions on the worksheet. Download additional worksheets.
- Access the CAPSO 2011 online registration area.
- Familiarize yourself with the CAPSO 2011 Registration Home Page. The links in the left-hand column allow viewers to access session descriptions and presenter information, navigate the registration process, and obtain useful summary information. The main section of the page provides instructions and general information.
- Click the "Continue" box in the center of the page, near the bottom. On the new page, select "USERNAME" under "Start Options". You will be prompted to enter a username and password you will need to remember for future visits to the registration site. After entering this information, click the "Create User" box at the bottom of the page. You will then set up a stored profile that will allow you to easily register for future CAPSO events. After entering this information, click the "Create User" box at the bottom of the page.
- Complete the two-step registration process, as follows:
- Step 1: Click the "Continue" button for "Step 1 Registration." Enter all requested information and then click the "Enter Record" box. On the next page, use the drop-down boxes to indicate each workshop session you, or the person you are registering would like to attend. Then click the "Submit" box at the bottom of the page. If you are registering multiple attendees, click the "Add New Attendee" link at the top, right-hand corner of the box. Enter registrant information, select workshop sessions for each additional person you are registering, then choose the appropriate CAPSO affiliation for each registrant. (This will typically be the organization with which an attendee's school is affiliated.) When you've finished entering information for all persons you are registering, click the "Submit" box to save your choices, and then click the "Next Step" link at the bottom of the page. If you're not registering multiple attendees, click the "Next Step" link.
- Step 2: Click the "Continue" box on the "Payment" line.
- For each person you have registered select the "Pay in Full" radio button under "Payment Action" for each individual for whom you will submit payment, then click the "Continue" box.
- The screen you are now looking at gives you an opportunity to either make changes (including deleting persons whose names you have entered), or to proceed to make your payment. If the information on this screen is accurate, click the "Make Payment" box to continue.
- If the address information in the Billing section is incorrect, click on the "Change" link. You can then choose either the "Fix the Address" or "New Address" boxes and enter the correct billing address information. Once entered, click the "Submit" button. Then, click the "Skip" box at the bottom of the new page, and then select the "Continue" box on the "Payment" line.
- Choose your form of payment by clicking either "MasterCard," "Visa," "AmExpress," or "Check."
- Payment by Credit Card: After you've clicked on the credit card you'll be using, enter the requested information and click the "Continue" box. Review the information on the new page and, if correct, click the "Submit Payment" box. A new screen will provide a final opportunity to ensure that the information is correct. After you submit the information on this page, you'll be notified that a receipt will be sent, via e-mail, to the listed address.
- Payment by Check: Enter the check number and name of the person, school, or organization printed on the check, then click the "Continue" box. Review the information that appears to make sure it's correct, then click the "Print Invoice" box at the bottom of the screen. NOTE: Please only hit the "Print Invoice" box once, and wait for a confirmation screen to appear. It may take up to a minute. Using your back button may result in a duplicate action (i.e. charge to your account or second page to be printed.) Click "OK" in the box that appears. If a "Confirm Dialog Preference" box then appears, click the "X" in its upper right-hand corner to close it. Proceed to print your invoice by clicking "OK" in your print box. Mail your check, payable to "CAPSO" to the address appearing on the invoice. Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the screen.
- If you encounter a problem and need assistance with your online registration, click the "Contact" link appearing in the lower left-hand corner of the screen and submit your request by email.
- Convention badges will be mailed to schools prior to the Convention. To ensure timely receipt of badges, please complete the registration process at your earliest convenience. Attendees are to bring their badges to the convention.
