![]() The Association of Christian Schools International has become a member organization of CAPSO, announced CAPSO president, Robert A. Teegarden. Joining CAPSO's Board of Directors are Dr. Jerry Haddock, Director of ACSI's Southern California region, and Mr. Rohn Ritzema, Director of ACSI's Northern California and Hawaii region. ACSI is a world-wide organization providing service to more than 5,000 Christian schools enrolling over one million students in more than 100 countries. In California, ACSI counts some 900 schools among its members with a total enrollment exceeding 160,000 students in preschool through high school. ASCI is committed to a vision that Christian school students worldwide will acquire wisdom, knowledge, and a biblical worldview, as evidenced by a lifestyle of character, leadership, service, stewardship, and worship. "With the addition of ACSI, CAPSO has underscored its status as the voice of California's private schools," said Mr. Teegarden. "We are proud to have such an outstanding organization with so many schools of excellence and distinction join our ranks. All of California's private schools, their students, faculties and parents will benefit from this partnership," he added. "Jerry Haddock and Rohn Ritzema are highly respected, deeply principled and broadly experienced individuals with terrific records of effective leadership and achievement. Their active participation will further enrich a board that is already of exceptional caliber," said Dr. Ron Reynolds, CAPSO's Executive Director.
