Private School Educators Eligible to Apply

The Earthwatch Institute's Education Awards Program provides grants to teachers (on a competitive awards basis) wishing to participate in one of the Institute's research expeditions. The expeditions are led by outstanding research scientists and address areas such as Archeology, Biodiversity, Cultural Diversity, Endangered Ecosystems, Global Change, Oceans and World Health. This year, some 130 expeditions will be conducted in 45 countries.

The application process appears to be relatively simple, though a $20 non-refundable fee must accompany each application.
