Robert currently serves as Director of Lutheran Schools of Southern California and Hawaii, a CAPSO affiliate and regional arm of the Evangelical Lutheran Education Association. Prior to leading the LSSCH, Robert was principal of Trinity Lutheran School in Hawthorne, California. He has also rendered service as a vice-principal, teacher and youth director in California, Wisconsin and Michigan.

For the past four years, Robert has served CAPSO with distinction as the organization's treasurer.

As a member of CAPSO's Executive Committee, Robert has played an instrumental role in helping to guide the organization's growth and development. His colleagues know him to be a hard-working, dedicated educator who possesses an affable personality, a strong commitment to his faith, and a love of people, family and friends.

While we will miss Robert's fellowship, we know that he will continue to serve California's private school community in his new capacity. Among other responsibilities, Robert will become a board member of the Council for American Private Education (CAPE).

CAPSO extends to Robert and his wife, Ellie (also an educator!), every best wish for a smooth transition to their new home in the Chicago area and for great success, achievement and fulfillment in the years to come.
